Another year has come to an end! Thank you for reading this blog for the past year. We hope it has given you inspiration for where and how to travel and the type of cruises that are the best fit for you. As the New Year begins, we wanted to do a quick recap of what’s coming up in 2018 for Celebrity Cruises.
New Celebrity Cruises Ships
2018 is going to be an exciting year for new Celebrity Cruises ships.
Celebrity Cruises made major news in 2017 when it announced the innovative spaces and amenities its new ship, Celebrity Edge, will have. Celebrity Edge is the first in the new Edge Class of ships for Celebrity Cruises and it is introducing many cruise firsts.
Dine right over the sea on the Magic Carpet, a cantilevered platform that moves to different ship decks throughout the day and switches between being a lounge to relax in before shore excursions and a restaurant to dine in during the evening hours.
Have a dinner experience you’ll never forget at Eden, Celebrity Edge’s multi-level restaurant that immerses you in a dramatic setting with inventive cuisine presented with artistic flair.
Reside in luxury in the new Infinite Veranda staterooms that help to blur the line between outdoor and indoor living on Celebrity Edge. Or go all out for your cruise and book one of Celebrity Edge’s incredible suites, like the Edge Villa, which has two stories and its own plunge pool on a large terrace overlooking the sea.
The Celebrity Edge will sail her maiden voyage in December of 2018. See itineraries and reserve your spot on Celebrity Edge by clicking here.
Though it won’t debut on its maiden voyage until spring of 2019, stay tuned for updates about Celebrity Cruises new small ship, Celebrity Flora. This luxurious ship will sail around the Galapagos Islands and is built with one main thing at the forefront of the design process: the destination.
Celebrity Flora is being specifically created to best showcase the natural beauty of the Galapagos while putting in aspects to protect that beauty, such as anchorless technology that will secure the ship’s position while leaving the sea floor intact.

Overnights in Port

Celebrity Cruises offers ports of call with overnights all over the world, including eight ports in the Caribbean. Some other overnight locations are St. Petersburg, Russia; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
